Hello Ms. VeJauan,
I was one of the couples awarded yesterday, at H.A.L.O. Black Marriage Day. I have to commend you on your words. They were so profound, and surely hit home. I said to myself, she’s telling my story. I too, have that story. It was truly beautiful. They saying is true, if you listen you will get what’s being said, because its just for you. Your doing a great job.

Sometimes the pat can be not only messy, but unexpectedly difficult. But if we count all the trials joy then our faith has the opportunity to grow and we gain spiritual fortitude. We go from faith to faith, glory to glory, and strength to strength down a path we don’t always understand but if we know Jesus we know that are in good and gentle hands. The thing about spirituality is that we must learn to serve God with our spirits because the flesh (natural self) will fail every. Paul said, “For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son,” Romans 1:9. Our best efforts will leave us in a mess but God in His infinite wisdom and loving-kindness just keeps cleaning us up and putting us back out there to try it again until we get it – that we must do everything for His from the rule of our spirits. Like peter walking on water, we will fail as will look away from him each time but if we keep our eyes on Him we can do the unimaginable with good success!

Messed up but fessed up to the man that matters. What’s God got to do with it everything!!! He will forgive us for our mistakes. It’s people that don’t forgive us and they suffer for it. May the God of compassion and mercy touch each soul to make it whole again and again and again…
